Josh Glaser worked with Showtime to co-create their All Access documentary series following fighters through the preparation, competition and aftermath of the biggest fights of their careers.
As Executive Producer and Supervising Editor, Josh leads the post-production team, turning out weekly up-to-the-moment episodes viewed by over 3 million people on Showtime, CBS, and YouTube.

As part of the promotion for the "fight of the century", this four-part documentary weaves real-time access to Floyd Mayweather's training camp with the largely unknown stories of the pivotal moments that made Floyd Mayweather the person he is today. On YouTube alone, each episode in the series averaged over 6 million viewers.

2011 New York Festivals Gold – Outstanding Documentary Series
From backroom promoter meetings to rarely-seen aftermaths of the fight, this revolutionary series took viewers on a journey to a side of professional boxing they had never seen before. Following the fighters of the Super Six World Boxing Classic, the series was one of the first to shoot entirely on DSLR cameras and pioneered covering professional sports with a low-fi, intimate esthetic.

Edit Cartel worked with the filmmakers to cut an extended fundraising trailer from dailies while they were in production in Uganda. The film went on to become an Academy Award Nominee for Best Documentary Feature and the winner of the Sundance Film Festival Documentary Directing Award. A Fine Films Feature.

Established in 2004, Edit Cartel works with a network of highly skilled directors, cinematographers, producers and editors to create compelling content for broadcast, streaming and corporate clients.
Josh Glaser - Founder & Creative Lead
Josh Glaser graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Philosophy, then quickly lost his way. His downward spiral includes producing, directing and/or editing numerous TV shows, theatrical film trailers, long form documentaries and feature films.
His long-form TV credits include Executive Producer of Showtime’s 5-Time Emmy® Award Winning All Access series which has followed boxing superstars like Floyd Mayweather, Canelo Alvarez and Miguel Cotto. Prior to that Josh produced and edited Showtime’s Fight Camp 360 series which documented The Super Six: World Boxing Classic as well as Manny Pacquiao’s fight against Shane Mosley (airing on CBS in primetime).
Josh has edited features and teases on-site for NBC’s Primetime Olympic Broadcast of the Beijing, Vancouver, London, Sochi, Rio and Pyeongchang games, as well as 5 Superbowls (XL for ABC, XLIII, XLVI and XLIX for NBC, LIV for CBS) and numerous other events. Other TV editing credits include the World Series of Poker and The ESPY Awards for ESPN. He has also directed live action spots for SpikeTV and Xbox.
In the world of feature films, Josh has cut theatrical trailers for clients including Paramount Pictures and The Film Movement. He has been nominated for four golden trailer awards including for War Dance (Oscar Nominee Best Documentary Feature). Josh created visual effects for Lewis Lapham’s The American Ruling Class (Official Selection Tribeca Film Festival), and served as the associate editor and opening titles designer of the feature The Look (Official Selection: Tribeca Film Festival). Josh also worked with artist Eve Sussman for her project 89 Seconds at Alcazar, which was exhibited at the Whitney Biennial and is a part of the MOMA’s permanent collection.
